Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for our Flight Training Center in Denver. This in-person role supports the staffing plan by developing and implementing training scheduling plans for instructor pilots and resources, with a fast-paced daytime/shift-work environment.

The role requires punctuality, strong communication, and knowledge of FARs and pilot contracts. You will coordinate daily scheduling, answer pilot inquiries, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training scheduling plans to support the overall staffing plan, optimizing instructor pilots and all resources.
• Schedule Note: In-person at United's Flight Training Center in Denver; fast-paced, shift-work including early/late shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain proficiency in applying FARs, pilot contract provisions, and internal company policies relevant to pilot training scheduling and operations.
• Proactively plan, coordinate, and facilitate day-to-day scheduling activities for smooth operations.
• Ensure timely and effective communication within the training department and with key stakeholders.
• Respond to pilots' inquiries, providing accurate information and resolving scheduling-related questions.
• Monitor and manage scheduling actions across inbox, Help Hub Dashboard, and team chats with timely follow-up.
