Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL is seeking a highly experienced Test Pilot to lead ground and flight tests for the A220 and A320 programs. You will sign flight orders, approve flight conditions, and coordinate post-flight debriefs with Engineering to expedite fault resolution.

The role requires 3000+ total flight hours, an EASA-recognized flight test background, and a current ICAO ATPL with US work authorization. Domestic/international travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized flight test school with 3000+ total flight hours.
• Flight test pilot experience exceeding 1000 hours.
• Current multi-pilot instrument rating with ICAO ATPL eligible for conversion to EASA.
• Recent Fly-By-Wire (FBW) experience.
• Excellent communication resolving issues and aligning teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ground and flight tests on A220 and A320 production aircraft.
• Approve flight conditions per Airbus procedures and DOA delegation.
• Adapt flight test plans in-flight with Captain approval.
• Coordinate post-flight debriefs with Engineering to resolve faults.
• Ensure safe, efficient flight conduct and briefing with teams.
• Engage with customers during the delivery process and support mobility.
