Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama seeks an Aircraft Ground Test Inspector (Contract) to prepare aircraft for ground testing and perform comprehensive system tests. You will document non-conformities, coordinate retests, and troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems under supervision.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, familiarity with A320/A220 family aircraft, and strong English communication, with on-site work in a dynamic manufacturing environment at Airbus facilities.

Qualifications

• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of IT systems and MS Office.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground tests and prepare the aircraft and workstation for testing.
• Conduct function tests on systems including flight controls, navigation, PAX entertainment.
• Document non-conformities in SAP NC and coordinate retests after rework.
• Troubleshoot test systems and aircraft systems; coordinate with engineering.
• Support continuous improvements to the production process.
• Other duties as assigned.
