Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a Test Pilot based in Mobile, AL to conduct ground and flight tests on the A220 and A320 aircraft.

You will sign off flight orders, work with the L-FTE and Captain, and ensure flight test plans are executed safely and efficiently. The role requires 3,000+ total flight hours, 1,000+ flight test hours, a current multi-pilot instrument rating, and ICAO ATPL eligibility for conversion to EASA ATPL, plus English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Total flight hours: 3,000+ and flight test experience >1,000 hours.
• Current multi-pilot instrument rating required.
• ICAO ATPL eligible for conversion to EASA ATPL.
• ICAO English Level 5 required.

Responsibilities

• Execute ground and flight tests for A220 and A320 families.
• Sign and manage flight orders with the L-FTE and Captain.
• Coordinate with Engineering to debrief and resolve issues post-flight.
• Maintain strict adherence to test procedures and safety protocols.
• Liaise with customers during delivery and test activities.
