Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL is seeking a Test Pilot to lead ground and flight tests on A220 and A320 production aircraft. You will sign flight orders, approve flight plans under DOA, and liaise with Engineering during debriefs to resolve issues.

The role requires extensive flight hour experience, a current multi-pilot rating, ICAO English level 5, and willingness to travel internationally for project support and training. Airbus offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an EASA recognized flight test school (ETPS, EPNER, USNTPS, USAFTPS, NTPS and ITPS)
• 3000+ total flight hours and flight test experience >1000 hours
• Current multi-pilot instrument rating and ICAO ATPL eligible for conversion to EASA ATPL

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire flight, including signing and co-signing the Flight Order.
• Approve flight conditions according to Airbus procedure with Captain’s concurrence.
• Lead post-flight technical debriefs and coordinate with Engineering for fault resolution.
• Engage with customers during delivery and communicate Airbus positions on flight-test matters.
• Travel internationally for assignments and support Training Departments as needed.
