Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to support the SCS Flight Test Team based at Patuxent River, MD. The role involves test planning, procedure creation, post-test data analysis, and reporting results.

Required are a STEM degree with extensive flight test experience and an active Top Secret clearance; familiarity with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and related programming languages is expected. The role may entail multiple shifts and OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 8+ years of related experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance is required.
• Experience generating technical documents and using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and programming languages.
• Familiarity with common Test Engineering methodologies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, execution and peer review of test procedures.
• Participate in Formal and Non-Formal Test execution events.
• Contribute to test planning, problem report validation, testing, and post-testing data analysis.
• Support creation of required test artifacts.
