Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal Flight Test Engineer to join our Test & Evaluation team at Edwards AFB. You will develop and publish test plans, support integration testing, and coordinate with design and test operations.

The role requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of flight test experience, and an active US Secret clearance. OT, shift work, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Active US Government Secret clearance required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance.
• Flight Test Experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Integrated Test Plans, detailed test plans and schedules.
• Provide laboratory support for integration testing.
• Interface with design and test teams to define data requirements.
• Support test readiness reviews and post-test analyses.
• Act as principal focal point between maintenance, design engineering and test site team.
