Job summary

CNA Corporation seeks qualified test engineers for NAS Pt. Mugu, CA and Edwards AFB, CA to lead flight test planning and data analysis. You will review requirements, develop flight test plans, and provide mission control room support during flights.

The role requires a STEM bachelor’s degree, minimum three years of test planning and analysis, aerospace knowledge, RF/optical sensor understanding, and strong communication. An active final Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of test planning, reporting, and analysis experience.
• Ability to apply aerospace engineering knowledge to flight testing principles and data interpretation.
• Active final Secret security clearance required at time of hire and ability to maintain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate test requirements to develop flight test plans.
• Provide mission control room support during flight test missions.
• Maintain metrics and report on status of testing; analyze flight test results and hand off data for further analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines and test operations personnel in test design, data analysis, and reporting.
