Job summary

Air Force Test Center at Edwards AFB, CA, is seeking a Full-Time Test Engineer to support flight test and evaluation of new aircraft and subsystems. You will develop test plans, coordinate execution, and analyze results to determine system conformance with requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Top Secret clearance, and willingness to travel up to 25%. Remote work is not indicated; DHA and incentives may be discussed with the selecting official.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
Top Secret security clearance required.
1-year probation or 2-year trial depending on position.

Responsibilities

Performs a wide variety of professional engineering duties associated with test and evaluation for specialized projects.
Studies and interprets requirements and specifications to determine test factors and data to be obtained.
Develops plans for conducting tests and coordinates phases of the test and evaluation process.
Assesses and interprets test data, presents results with plots and tables, and compares with models.
Develops metrics and interprets results to suggest changes to production methods and procedures.
Participates in planning conferences, prepares management reports, and conducts technical presentations.
