Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development or systems integration for aerospace/missile systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ (embedded), Python/MATLAB for scripting and analysis, and familiarity with real-time operating systems.
• Strong understanding of telemetry protocols, RF communications, modulation/demodulation, and link-budget calculation.
• Hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test rigs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
• Active and Current Secret Clearance required. Thus US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement end-to-end telemetry downlink architecture.
• Represent Systems Engineering in FSW Development and Integration.
• Define HW/SW interfaces.
• Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing to verify timing, synchronization and data integrity.
• Create and execute ground‑test and flight‑test plans for telemetry downlink performance, including link‑budget analysis, BER testing, and end‑to‑end data validation.
• Diagnose and resolve telemetry‑related anomalies discovered during integration, test.
