Job summary

Reliable Robotics in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Flight Software Manager to lead the team responsible for safety-critical embedded flight software. You will guide maturation of engineering processes toward DO-178C certification while enabling rapid integration and testing of GNC algorithms.

You will collaborate with GNC, Avionics, Systems and Hardware leads to define roadmaps, manage priorities, and ensure the software architecture supports certifiability and robust autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, CS, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of real-time embedded C/C++ development.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or people management.
• Experience with GNC algorithms, flight dynamics, and state estimation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Flight Software team responsible for safety-critical embedded flight software.
• Mature engineering processes toward DO-178C verification and certification.
• Guide architecture and collaboration across GNC, Avionics, Systems and Hardware.
