Job summary

Reliable Robotics is seeking a Flight Software Manager to lead the safety-critical software that enables autonomous aircraft. You will shepherd DO-178C practices while guiding architecture across flight controls, redundancy, and GNC integrations.

You will collaborate with GNC, Avionics, Systems, and Hardware teams to align roadmaps, manage priorities, and unblock a high-performance software organization focused on safe, certifiable autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, CS, or related field.
• 7+ years real-time embedded software experience (C/C++).
• 3+ years in technical leadership or people management.
• Experience on complex hardware-software systems.
• Experience with GNC, flight dynamics, and state estimation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the flight software team for safety-critical systems.
• Mature engineering processes to DO-178C certification readiness.
• Provide architectural guidance across flight software components.
• Collaborate with GNC, Avionics, Systems, and Hardware leads.
