Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Flight Simulation Engineering Associate Manager to lead a multi-discipline team responsible for the sustainment of aircrew training devices and simulators. You will plan, analyze requirements, manage schedules, and coordinate with vendors and government customers to ensure compliant, on-time delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field, 8+ years with flight simulators, and DoD 8570 IAT II/III readiness within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical field is required.
• 3+ years managing small-to-medium, geographically separated teams and projects.
• 3+ years experience in Training System Sustainment.
• 8+ years experience with Aircrew Training Devices (flight simulators).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 15–30 employees and sub-contractors.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Direct development of solutions for training systems and aircrew training devices.
• Troubleshoot issues with vendors and maintain system functionality.
• Design and maintain reports and dashboards; monitor data outcomes.
