Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems seeks a seasoned systems engineer to support flight simulator systems for the AFSOC ACTS contract at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Lead duties and hands-on design, integration, and testing of simulator hardware and software will be part of the role.

You will derive requirements from the SOW, develop interface definitions, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure successful operation and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience using AutoCAD to develop hardware designs and drawings.
• Experience with simulator motion control systems, visual systems, and radar landmass databases and network configurations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for a heavily customer-facing environment.
• Familiarity with AS-9100, ISO-9001 and SQMS.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to meet task deadlines.
• Develop BOM in support of proposals.
• Translate drawings into hardware infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain simulators.
• Derive system requirements from the SOW and allocate to hardware/software.
• Develop detailed system/hardware designs and interface definitions.
• Perform hardware installation, integration, and test of aircrew training devices.
• Support ECP reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR and CCAs.
• Review and maintain systems documentation and drawings.
• Interface with multiple functional areas to support operations and modifications.
