Job summary

Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, MT is seeking a PRN A.L.E.R.T. Flight Paramedic to deliver critical care during air and ground transports. You’ll work with a skilled flight team, providing advanced prehospital care to neonatal through geriatric patients.

This role emphasizes field autonomy, rapid decision-making, and seamless coordination with pilots, nurses, and emergency staff. Shift patterns are variable to cover busy periods, vacations, and need-based assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years paramedic experience.
• Current Montana EMT-P and/or National Registry licensure required.
• BLS: RQI Provider certification within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care.
• ACLS & PALS: Required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Trauma Certification: PHTLS or TPATC required; TPATC within 2 years.
• Additional Certifications: NRP, STABLE, and Introduction to Fetal Heart Monitoring within 1 year of hire.
• Critical Care Endorsement: MT Medical Director approval within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced life support across neonatal to geriatric patients during air and ground transports.
• Collaborate with flight nurses, pilots and emergency teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety, clinical, and documentation standards.
• Adapt to variable PRN shifts and meet department needs.
