Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Flight Paramedic to provide the highest level of critical care during helicopter transport. You will assess, triage, and treat patients in confined, noisy flight environments alongside the Flight Nurse.

The role demands advanced clinical skills, rapid decision-making and the ability to work under pressure across diverse environments, with responsibilities including medication administration and ALS in flight.

Qualifications

• Paramedic licensure in state of operation (MO EMS-P or AR EMT-P).
• Minimum three years ER or Critical Care experience.
• ITLS or PHTLS certification within six months of hire.
• ATLS or equivalent certification within six months of hire.
• FP-C or CCP-C certification within two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care during transport by helicopter.
• Administer medications and perform advanced life support in-flight.
• Collaborate with Flight Nurse and adapt to high-pressure environments.
