Air Methods CBS in Phoenix is seeking a paramedic to provide pre-hospital advanced life support in a busy 911 system and airborne transport setting. You will participate in pre-mission briefings, assist pilots, and ensure safety and readiness of equipment during flights.

The role requires strong clinical skills, documentation discipline, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including on-call rotation in a lifesaving aviation program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least three years’ related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum three years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system.
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support from initial contact to handoff to the accepting facility.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and mission debriefings; assist with liftoff checklists and pilot communications.
• Maintain equipment and supplies onboard aircraft; report equipment failures.
• Participate in outreach, education, and departmental activities.
• Follow safety standards to protect patients, medical personnel, and equipment.
