Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Panacea, FL is seeking an experienced paramedic to deliver lifesaving pre-hospital care from scene to hospital, aboard advanced life support aircraft. You will assess, triage, and treat patients while maintaining rigorous documentation and safety standards in a fast-paced trauma environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining licensure and competencies, attending mandatory trainings, assisting in pre-mission liftoff and post-mission debriefings, and supporting the flight

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum three years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system.
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support from first contact to hospital transfer.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Operate within state scope of practice and maintain competency.
• Attend at least six educational programs annually.
• Report equipment status and ensure readiness onboard aircraft.
• Participate in mission briefings/debriefings and safety checks.
