Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Lockhart, TX seeks experienced paramedics for high‑acuity pre‑hospital care aboard state‑of‑the‑art helicopters, serving the community through lifesaving missions. You will perform ALS, maintain documentation, and contribute to ongoing education while delivering care in dynamic environments.

The role requires 3+ years in busy 911 systems, licensure in state, and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous learning in an ICU‑in‑the‑sky setting. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years recent experience in a busy 911 system
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support from first contact to transfer
• Maintain patient care documentation and ensure safety
• Attend pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and ongoing safety training
• Attend at least six educational programs annually
