Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Williams, AZ is seeking a paramedic to deliver pre-hospital advanced life support. You’ll participate in high-stakes helicopter transports, maintain documentation, and stay current with required certifications while supporting patient care from initial contact through handoff.

The role requires 3+ years of busy 911 experience, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule with on-call rotations. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years’ related experience or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support and maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Work within scope of practice per state and Air Methods CBS guidelines.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and mission debriefings; assist in liftoff checklists and pilot communications.
• Maintain equipment readiness and report any failures; ensure aircraft readiness and safety.
