Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a seasoned Paramedic for in Rio Rico, AZ, to deliver advanced life support in pre-hospital settings. You will operate within CBS guidelines, maintain documentation, and ensure aircraft readiness while pursuing ongoing education.

A high level of professionalism and strong teamwork are essential for this critical role. You must have a current EMT-P license and 3+ years in a busy 911 system; a health-related bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a busy 911 system.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
• Registered EMT-P license in state(s) served; specialty certifications within 2 years may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support from scene to hospital transfer.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Operate within defined scope of practice and state regulations; maintain competency.
• Attend a minimum of six educational programs annually.
• Maintain equipment readiness and report failures; ensure aircraft supply.
• Participate in patient follow-up, outreach, and education activities.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists and safety procedures.
• Comply with safety standards to protect patient, crew, and equipment.
