Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join our air transport team. You will perform prehospital and interfacility ALS care, complete electronic patient care records, and participate in mission briefings.

Requires EMT-P license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, FP-C within 24 months; a minimum of 3 years in 911/critical care; two 24-hour shifts weekly; company-paid crew housing; starting pay $21.34-$40.99/hr plus a $7,000 annual area stipend.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting required.
• EMT-P license in states served by the area; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and trauma certs required before flight status.
• FP-C certification required within 24 months of hire; instructor certifications preferred; NREMT-P may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within required time.
• Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts; maintain department equipment and supplies.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff at receiving facility.
