Job summary

YUTE Bethel in Bethel, AK seeks a Flight Follower / Flight Coordinator to support safe and efficient operations by coordinating flight activities, monitoring aircraft progress, and maintaining accurate records. You will work with pilots, station staff, Village Agent Coordinators, and the call center to ensure flights comply with procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate flight operations with station staff, Village Agent Coordinators, and call center personnel.
Build and assign flights according to GOM and procedures.
Monitor flight progress using the flight-tracking system.
Prepare and maintain flight manifests and related paperwork.
Review manifests for completeness and accuracy.
Maintain Flight and Traffic Log and other operational records.
Coordinate flight release with Pilot in Command.
Review Flight Risk Assessments and obtain approvals before release.
Communicate safety or operational information to crews and staff.
Monitor weather and runway conditions and suspend operations when unsafe.
