Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years related experience or training.
• Thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR).
• Successfully pass the knowledge test 14 CFR 135.619 and FAA drug/alcohol tests.
• 2+ years in military aviation, Part 135 operations, dispatcher or meteorologist roles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee safe conduct of flight operations and aircraft status.
• Review flight risk assessments with PIC and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Disseminate information on operational control problems and coordinate follow-up.
• Report irregularities affecting flight safety or emergency measures.
• Analyze meteorological data to identify hazards to flight safety.
• Communicate required information on hazardous conditions and safety data.
• Participate in recurrent FAA regulatory and operations training.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of operation manuals and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
