Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee safe conduct of flight operations for the company’s aircraft.
• Track crew duty times, currency requirements and FAR compliance.
• Review Flight Risk Assessments with the pilot-in-command per regulations.
• Disseminate and distribute information on operational control issues and expedite actions.
• Log irregularities involving flight operations safety or emergency measures.
• Analyze meteorological information to identify potential flight hazards.
• Communicate information on hazardous flight conditions and pertinent safety data.
• Participate in recurrent FAA training and keep operation manuals current.
