Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Clinical Transport Nurse to deliver high-level nursing care during inter-facility and field transports. You will assess, triage, treat, and manage complex conditions in flight or road settings, with a focus on safety and outcome optimization.

The role requires BSN and RN licensure with advanced transport credentials, and you will operate ventilators, medications, and invasive devices within protocol-guided practice. Travel across service areas is inherent.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in state of work/residence with required credentials.
• Experience in emergency, critical care, or flight/prehospital transport.
• Current PD/EMT certifications and trauma certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care, assessment, triage and treatment in transport settings.
• Operate advanced equipment, manage ventilator settings and hemodynamic support.
• Perform invasive procedures and ensure patient safety during transport.
• Work autonomously under protocol guidance in varied environments including ambulances, helicopters and airplanes.
