Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Clinical Transport Nurse to provide professional nursing care during critical transport. You will perform assessments, triage, and invasive procedures for patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric in ambulances, helicopters, or airplanes.

The role requires an RN with a valid license, BSN preferred, and certifications including EMT/Paramedic within specified timelines. Nights, 7p-7a, 40 hours per week, with pay range $41.10-$61.65 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in NC/SC or equivalent licensure.
• Paramedic certification required within one year of orientation.
• EMT certification required upon hire.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and STABLE qualifications maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care with assessment, triage, and treatment for critical transport patients.
• Manage ventilators, vasopressors, and invasive procedures during transport.
• Operate advanced medical equipment in ambulances, helicopters, or airplanes.
• Maintain autonomy in out-of-hospital settings under medical director protocols.
• Collaborate with flight crews and ED teams to ensure safe patient handoffs.
