Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced flight nurse to provide advanced critical care during air and ground transport. You will care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients with autonomy in a fast-paced transport environment.

The role requires a BSN and state nursing certification with ALS, BLS, PALS, and trauma care expertise. You will pursue CFRN and trauma certs within specified timelines and work in coordination with the transport team and physicians.

Qualifications

• State-certified Nurse with no restrictions, valid in area of operation.
• ALS, BLS, PALS, and trauma care.
• NRP within 120 days of hire.
• Emergency/critical care experience.
• Must obtain CFRN within two years of hire.
• Trauma care certs (ATLS, PHTLS, TNCC) within one year.
• Strong critical thinking and autonomous decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced critical care and stabilization during air and ground transport.
• Assess and manage neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients with independent clinical judgment.
• Perform advanced interventions including airway management and medication administration.
• Collaborate with referring providers, receiving facilities, and transport team members.
• Maintain transport equipment, readiness standards, and patient documentation.
• Adhere to aviation, transport, and patient safety protocols.
