Job summary

Amentum in Fallon, NV is seeking a Plane Captain to perform aircraft handling, servicing, daily and turn-around inspections, and to fuel ground support equipment while providing technical guidance.

Responsibilities include launching and recovering aircraft, directing taxi operations, towing and parking, ensuring safety and compliance with FOD, hazardous waste, and tool-control programs, and maintaining a clean, professional work center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) or more years' experience in aviation maintenance and / or flight line operations.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must obtain/maintain any government/company license, qualification, certification, and clearance requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Performs the duties and responsibilities of the Aircraft Washer and Plane Captain Helper classifications.
• Performs daily and turn around inspections as required to the applicable procedures.
• Initiates and completes applicable maintenance forms.
• Performs Aircraft fuel sampling/servicing as required IAW established procedures.
• Launches and recovers aircraft.
