Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at NAS Fallon, NV, reporting to the Maintenance Operations/Maintenance Manager. You will supervise organizational level maintenance on assigned aircraft, coordinate actions to keep aircraft, material, and components serviceable with efficient resource use.

Responsibilities include enforcing CNAFINST 4790.2 standards, reviewing SCIR/NALCOMIS data, directing maintenance to meet schedules, and ensuring safety and QA compliance.

Qualifications

• 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with 4 to 6 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising daily flight operations personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 Series and applicable technical publications.
• Familiarity with NALCOMIS/OOMA system and safety procedures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance activities to retain or restore aircraft to serviceable condition.
• Coordinate workload and prioritize tasks to meet flight schedules and ground test requirements.
• Monitor compliance with safety rules and CNAFINST directives.
• Lead and develop day-to-day operations of assigned work groups.
• Instruct and train lower-level employees in proper work methods.
• Coordinate with QA, supply, and other groups as needed.
