Job summary

Amentum’s Aircraft Branch Flightline Supervisor provides senior-level oversight of aircraft maintenance operations in direct support of the 89th Airlift Wing’s executive airlift mission. The role directs 98 flightline personnel and leads an expeditor team to ensure timely, safe, and compliant maintenance.

The incumbent coordinates training, manages schedules, reviews maintenance records for FMC status, and enforces safety and quality standards while ensuring adherence to directives and good

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable aircraft and general flightline maintenance.
• Thorough working knowledge of applicable technical publications and ability to interpret technical data.
• FAA A&P Certification is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a flightline driver’s license.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to flightline personnel in coordination with the Aircraft Branch Manager and Production Supervisor.
• Formulate, manage, and schedule training for personnel maintaining aircraft assigned to the 89AW.
• Coordinate maintenance efforts to ensure all mission scheduled aircraft are Fully Mission Capable (FMC).
• Review aircraft records to ensure maintenance is performed and documentation is complete.
