Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at NAS Fallon, NV to lead the day-to-day maintenance of assigned aircraft under contract. The role requires deep knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 and the ability to coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions to keep airframes ready for flight.

You will supervise maintenance teams, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and liaise with QA/QARs and government oversight.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with 4–6 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising daily flight operations personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Knowledgeable of CNAFINST 4790.2 Series; basic supply procedures; experience in maintenance/production control.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise organizational level maintenance on assigned aircraft and coordinate actions to retain/restore serviceability.
• Release Aircraft Safe for Flight; monitor maintenance records; coordinate workload to meet flight schedules.
• Ensure work conforms to manufacturers' specs, company policy, and safety rules; maintain neat, safe work areas.
• Provide direct supervision of day-to-day operations; schedule personnel and prioritize workload to avoid duplication of labor.
• Instruct and assist in training lower-level employees in proper work methods and duties.
• Perform other maintenance duties or supervisory tasks as identified by senior management.
