Northrop Grumman in Kennedy Space Center, FL, seeks a Flight Inspector – Level 2 or 3 to join our Space Sector. This on-site role focuses on implementing the quality system for SLS production and conducting mechanical and electrical inspections on flight hardware.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent plus two years of related experience or education.
• For Level 3: 4 years additional education/experience and similar physical demands.
• Familiar with reading blueprints and basic inspection tools.

Responsabilidades

• Performs a variety of mechanical and electrical inspections on flight hardware, including torquing fasteners, safety wire, TPS, Alodine, primer and topcoat, and cable harness work.
• Generates non-conformance reports for defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
• Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, micrometers, scales, fixtures, and customer specs.
• Performs analysis on finished products to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Conducts qualitative tests to support maintenance and calibration of instruments.
• Reviews production records for conformance and conducts non-conformance tests.
• Other duties as assigned.
