Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Flight Inspector – Level 2 or 3 for 100% onsite work. You will inspect flight-critical hardware, verify documentation, and ensure conformance before production acceptance.

The role requires AS9100 familiarity and US citizenship, with a 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off. Level 2 or 3 qualifications apply with detailed inspections, nonconformance handling, and collaboration with procurement and production teams.

Formación

• Experience performing inspection for proper identity and dimensional conformance.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or equivalent aerospace/defense QMS requirements.
• Ability to make pass/fail decisions and maintain records.
• US Citizenship required to start.

Responsabilidades

• Perform receiving inspection on flight-critical hardware and components.
• Validate supplier documentation before material acceptance.
• Execute inspection per quality instructions and program requirements.
• Create inspection records in TIPQA and verify routing in Costpoint.
• Initiate and support Nonconformance Reports and MRB documentation.
• Apply visual and dimensional inspection techniques and enforce holds.
• Support RCCA reviews for escapes or deficiencies.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Production to resolve issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
