Job summary

Heartland Label Printers, LLC. is seeking a Press Operator to manage setup, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of a Mark Andy flexographic printing press to produce high-quality label rolls. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to customer specifications and production schedules.

The role supports continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment, with attention to print quality and process optimization across production runs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses per work orders and production requirements.
• Review job tickets to determine quantities, colors, substrates, print sequences, anilox specs, and customer requirements.
• Install and configure printing plates, cylinders, dies, rollers, gauges, feed guides and other press components.
• Load and adjust substrates into press feeding mechanisms and set press parameters (speed, temperature, registration, pressure, tension, ink flow).
• Inspect printed products for print clarity, color consistency, registration accuracy, and conformance to specs.
