Job summary

Heartland Label Printers, LLC is seeking a Press Operator to set up, run, and monitor flexographic printing presses to produce high‑quality label rolls that meet customer specifications and production schedules.

You will review job tickets, adjust ink flow and registration, inspect print quality, perform routine maintenance, and support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives while complying with safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or an associate degree in printing processes preferred.
• Previous flexographic printing experience preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses per work orders.
• Review job tickets and production orders for quantities, colors and substrates.
• Install printing plates, cylinders, dies, rollers and related press components.
• Load materials and adjust press parameters such as speed, temperature, and ink flow.
• Inspect output for print quality, color accuracy and registration.
• Maintain records and assist with maintenance and cleanliness.
