Resource Label Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Flexo Press Operator to join our team. You will set up and operate the printing press to produce labels and related products, with onsite training provided. This role offers growth potential in the printing industry and prior printing experience is a strong plus.

The position reports to the Production Manager. Pay rate is $24.00-$34.50 per hour for an Experienced Flexo Press Operator, with a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Thu, 2:30pm-1:00am) and occasional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of three years related experience or equivalent
• At least 1 year of narrow-web Flexo printing experience is required
• Flexo press, narrow-web printing, flexible packaging, and/or label printing/packaging experience preferred
• Multi-color printing experience
• Ability to read and interpret rulers, scales and measurement devices

Responsibilities

• Reads job order and loads dies into press, installs print cylinder on shaft and presses in place
• Fills ink pans, screens and pumps with prescribed inks
• Starts press, adjusts speed and alignment of stock to print cylinder
• Engages print cylinders; adjusts printing impression and runs approval strips
• Cleans plates, print cylinders and dies; performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance
• Mixes inks to achieve desired colors and viscosity
• Keeps work areas clean and organized; maintains housekeeping standards
