Heartland Label Printers is seeking a Press Operator to setup, operate, and monitor flexographic printing presses. You will ensure high-quality label rolls meet specs and schedules, inspect print results, and support maintenance and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude essential for operation and maintenance of press.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic presses to match work orders and production needs.
• Review job tickets and orders for quantities, colors, substrates, and sequences.
• Install printing plates, cylinders, dies, rollers, and other press components; load substrates.
• Adjust press parameters (speed, temperature, registration, pressure, ink flow).
• Inspect print quality during runs and correct defects or equipment issues promptly.
• Perform routine press maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain production records and assist with material handling and inventory.
