Job summary

Rock Creek Foundation seeks an Employment Specialist to provide clinical, casework, vocational, and group services to individuals with mental health diagnoses and co-occurring disabilities. You will coordinate training to enhance vocational skills, collaborate with families, and work toward successful community-based employment.

The role emphasizes person-centered planning, advocacy, and ongoing professional development in a supportive team environment within Maryland.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least two years’ experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Interview and evaluate applicants to determine eligibility for services.
• Develop rehab plans and assist with goal setting.
• Coordinate onboarding and job placement activities.
• Maintain case records and submit reports in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with case managers, families, and community partners.
• Ensure trainings are completed and services meet quality standards.
