Job summary

Rock Creek Foundation is seeking an Employment Specialist in Silver Spring, MD to provide clinical, casework, vocational, and group services to consumers and families. You will interview applicants, develop rehabilitation goals, coordinate onboarding, and connect individuals with community employers.

You will maintain records, assist with plan updates, and ensure compliance while supporting clients with disabilities to achieve meaningful employment and independent living.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of two years' experience working with adults with varying intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Ability to pass background checks and FBI fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Interview and evaluate applicants to determine eligibility and feasibility of vocational rehabilitation.
• Develop rehabilitation or PCP goals and assist individuals to reach personal and vocational objectives.
• Coordinate onboarding needs and secure employment leads with community-based employers.
• Maintain written case records, reports, and perform administrative tasks.
• Ensure staffing schedules and attendance are in compliance with plans and policies.
