Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking a Supported Employment Specialist to help individuals with disabilities achieve personal, social, and vocational goals. You will guide clients, build resumes, and develop job opportunities across multiple locations in Montgomery County and Rockville, MD.

The role includes visiting worksites to support employment maintenance, partnering with employers on incentives, and ensuring accessible pathways to meaningful work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience can be substituted.
• The use of a personal vehicle to assist clients as needed is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality vocational supports including resume building & job development.
• Network with local employers to educate them on hiring incentive benefits.
• Assist clients in maintaining employment by frequent visits to the work site.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences preferred
