Allied Universal, the leading security services company, is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer in Texas. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents across multiple client sites, with flexible shifts via our shift-pickup platform.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior security experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Active listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Assess and evaluate situations quickly; basic conflict mediation.
• Teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of infractions and control entry/exit points.
• Monitor entrances and exits and authorize access.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper property removal.
• Investigate incidents; maintain written reports and logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
