Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer in Beaumont, TX. The role involves patrolling designated areas, monitoring for security threats, and serving a variety of clients across industries. Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle
• Background check in accordance with laws; violations considered per applicable laws
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• No prior experience required
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed in some states)
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• Operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Effective oral and written communication; keep logs and reports
• Active listening and problem-solving skills
• Assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately
• Mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy
• Teamwork
• Attention to detail
• Preferred: multilingual abilities and prior security/military experience

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper disposal of items.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors politely.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
