Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Flex to safeguard client sites across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. You will patrol areas, monitor access points, and respond to incidents using our shift-pickup platform to build a flexible schedule and gain diverse site experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation conducted as part of employment.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/telephone equipment and communicate with the public.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict mediation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or contact police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Ensure authorized entry and monitor property to prevent theft.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site post orders.
