Allied Universal is hiring a Security Flex Unarmed Officer in Bastrop, TX to protect clients across healthcare, education, finance and more. You’ll use a shift-pickup platform to choose shifts that fit your schedule, gaining valuable site experience and growth opportunities.

The role may require irregular hours with little notice and you’ll be part of a team that delivers professional service while maintaining safety and security across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation required by law in accordance with federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed in some states).
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment and communicate with the public.
• Strong written and verbal communication; good problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular conditions and safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or notify police/fire in emergencies.
• Control access to property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Inspect and log incidents and accidents with clear reports.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
