Qualifications

• Clean criminal record and background checks required
• Bachelor's degree in any field required
• Three professional references required
• Teaching license or ability to obtain substitute license
• Complete SubSkills Online training and mandatory modules
• Strong written and oral communication
• Maintain punctual attendance
• Adhere to Licensure Code of Professional Conduct

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom
• Ensure student supervision and safety
• Keep students engaged and on-task
• Monitor student progress and assist as needed
• Maintain classroom management and discipline procedures
• Understand school policies and procedures
• Provide written feedback to the regular teacher
• Maintain accurate attendance records
