We guide you through screening to your first assignment. Responsibilities include following lesson plans, maintaining classroom order, supervising students, and providing feedback to the regular teacher.

Qualifications

• Criminal record check within 365 days via FBI/BCI.
• Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• Three professional references.
• Teaching License or Ohio Substitute Teacher License required.
• Complete SubSkills Online training and PublicSchoolWorks modules.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher to ensure continuity of education.
• Maintain a neat, orderly classroom and supportive learning environment.
• Ensure student supervision and safety at all times.
• Keep students engaged and monitor progress during the day.
• Provide written feedback to the regular teacher after each day; maintain attendance records.
