Job summary

Lowe’s in Grand Rapids is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure a smooth checkout experience. You'll work across departments, assist with locating merchandise, and deliver friendly service throughout the shopping journey.

Qualifications

Must have at least 6 months experience using a computer.
Experience with retail devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform duties.
Lifting up to 25 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
Down stock merchandise by identifying empty shelf areas and replenishing supplies.
Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood).
Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
Complete other duties as assigned.
