Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to warmly welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement. You’ll interact with shoppers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, stock and organize aisles, and ensure customer needs are met with friendly, efficient service.

The role may involve various departments, from appliances to hardware, and requires readiness to learn and adapt in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and inputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic ability.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and provide friendly service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time delivery.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support the customer experience.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint tinting, pipe cutting, wood handling).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout and perform other duties as assigned.
