Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based contract near Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on direct student services and IEP support in a collaborative educational setting.

You will document thoroughly, adapt interventions for diverse learners, and participate in IEP meetings while coordinating with therapists and school staff to help students achieve goals. Flexibility and teamwork are valued in this position.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license in Arizona.
• Experience in schools or with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with therapists, educators and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
• Maintain up-to-date and thorough documentation for all services provided.
• Support implementation and monitoring of individual therapy plans in a school-based setting.
• Consult and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including regular coordination with Dr. Bonner.
• Participate in IEP meetings to share findings and help develop student goals.
• Adapt strategies and interventions to meet diverse student needs.
